Join us and the rest of our neighbors on South Street for this year’s SOUTH STREET LIVE Fest which spans South Street from the 200 block all the way to 800 block.

We’re happy to welcome back Record Riot which we’ll be hosting from 10 am to 5 pm! Come see tables of records/CD’s/vintage and more from vendors near and far. Also Tattooed Mom will be slinging outdoor drinks, and South Street Souvlaki will have outdoor tables and food.

We’ll have our own set up out in front of the shop with some crates of freshly priced used items that haven’t been seen by anyone yet! Also expect us to be stocked up on our best sellers for new customers who may have never been here before!

Join us on SATURDAY April 12th for this year’s Record Store Day extravaganza.

WE ARE OPENING AT 8 AM THIS YEAR. There WILL be a line so check the weather and be prepared.

To help you plan your morning, we do post a list of every exclusive RSD title we will have available with quantities on our Instagram usually a day or two before RSD when we have all product in. Make sure to follow our insta (@reporecords).

This year’s RSD happens to fall on South Street Art Mart’s annual Rex Manning Day block party, so there will also be LIVE BANDS, food, outdoor activities and more all along the 500 and 400 blocks of South Street and 4th Street in front of Art Mart.

We have tons of ticket giveaways for you to enter from local venues, plus a Victrola record player, swag bags for the first customers in line, new Repo tees, stickers and more.

DJ’s Crystal and Mel will be here in the store spinning live from 1-4 also!

Join us on Sunday July 14th at 4 pm to hear the new Glass Animals album before the rest of the world (release date is Friday the 19th). Shop, browse, hang out while you listen.

We will have some giveaways and you’ll be able to pre-order the album if you like it.

This is a first come/first served event and all are welcome!

For the first time ever, a RECORD RIOT is coming to the 500 block of South Street on June 8th, 2024!!!

This is a big one for vinyl and CD collectors, and those interested in seeing a wide variety of music all in one place. There will be 40+ tables of records from various vendors, along with some of our South Street neighbors who will also have tables set up outside.

This is a fun, free, all ages event

**If you’re new to RSD, please read:

—certain items seem to be heavily allocated this year (meaning we may have ordered 25 of something and only get 3) , so checking our list of quantities when we post it will help you plan your day …

—please don’t ask us when to line up. We’ve had years when people get out there at midnight, and years where they start at 6 am. It’s different every year, but yes there WILL be a line.

— all items are limited , so we have to set limit to ONE of each title per customer (meaning you can grab as many different titles that you’d like, but you can’t grab 3 of same title… it’s not fair to those in line behind you). You’re welcome to get back in line if you want to purchase multiples, and if any are left as line circles through, that is fine.

—if you’re looking to purchase over the phone, we are not taking phone orders until line is over with. We need to make it fair to everyone that came and stood in line!

—there are no holds or early purchasing for RSD so please don’t even ask 🥹

—in the morning when we open, we will let one-two people in at a time so we can ensure they get what they came for. This moves pretty fast, and we’ve found works better than a mad rush as soon as the doors open.

—we can’t control what goes on down on South Street at night while we’re not there, but we do alert the police beforehand to make sure they know to keep an eye on our corner while customers are standing outside

— this year we will have a food truck and baked goods from @thechillybanana and @softbellycookies setting up first thing in morning… we also have Spread Bagel, Three Graces, Lombard Cafe, Federal Donuts all within a block of us that open pretty early in the morning.

Everyone’s favorite day of the year, REX MANNING DAY (if you don’t get it, please watch the movie Empire Records and then you will get it). This year it falls on Saturday April 6th. The main event will take place on 4th and South down in front of South Street Art Mart and Milkboy. There will be live music, food, giveaways, and many photo opps. We will be spinning 90’s classics all day at Repo, with specials, discounts, and much more.
